Swinton is the Salford town south of Walkden on the A6, around the precinct and Chorley Road. It is the place listed as Swinton, Manchester. From Stone Hill Road this is a longer run: Plodder Lane to the A6, through Walkden, then on into Swinton. The number is still 0161 883 4053 at the Farnworth base.
Down the A6 past Walkden
From Stone Hill Road we take Plodder Lane to the A6 and stay on it through Walkden. Swinton is the next town south, before Pendlebury. The East Lancs Road crosses the south side. Worsley is off to the east, towards the canal, and is a nearer stop if that is where you are. We do not publish a journey time, because that A6 stretch changes it.
