Across the A6
From Stone Hill Road we head west, Plodder Lane towards the A6, then into Walkden. The centre and the estates before Little Hulton are this job. Little Hulton carries on along the same A6 towards the M61. Worsley is the village south of the centre, and Over Hulton is back north along the A6. If you are near the motorway, say Little Hulton so we do not stop short in Walkden.
